Raise your hand if you know how window blinds are installed or hung. Anyone? Me neither. So, it is hard to complain when we stopped over at our kid’s apartment and looked strangely at their window.
Dylan asked curiously, “What is wrong?” Our answer was another question, “Why does your window look funny?”. Turns out, the very heavy metal blinds fell one day and our son “reinstalled” them upside down and backwards. I am not sure I even understand how that is possible, but it gave us all a chuckle. It also gave the chance to discuss how to think problems through, the basics of window blind operation, and why cords and adjustment handles always need to hang downward.
